Dixon Edwards is one of the most popular and richest American Football Player who was born on March 25, 1968 in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. During his time at college He recorded 254 tackles in his career, 18 tackles for loss, four passes that were defensed, and four sacks. All while helping the Spartans to a record of 31-14-1 as well as 2 Big Ten titles and a 3-1 bowl record (including in 1988 the Rose Bowl win).
He was the starting strongside linebacker following the time Vinson Smith’s contract was terminated by the Chicago Bears on August 17. He had an impressive 82 tackles (seventh for the squad), 1.5 sacks, one quarterback pressure, and 12 special team tackles. He played only during Super Bowl XXVIII because the Cowboys maintained five defensive backs on the field for the bulk of the game.
